Vietnam C2D

Don’t care what the headings mean anymore?? Well never fear, you’re not alone!! But you are in a very, very small minority of people who will ever read this.  Nevertheless, I’ll explain.

Lea and James are off to Vietnam!! We really can’t remember, why or when we booked. We’re pretty sure we wanted to go to Canada this year, so maybe after one of those French classes where we (James) spent more time drinking wine than speaking French (which is more like being in France anyway…) we accidentally booked the wrong colony.

Anyway…we’ll be working our way from North (Charlie) to the South (the Mekong Delta) or more accurately from Hanoi to Halong Bay to Hue to Hoi An to Ho Chi Minh, so it was either C2D or H2H2H2H2H. Or VH5, which looks too much like the name of a video player from the 80s.  (Nobody’s faced a problem this tough since the marketing team at Holden got to the VZ and had to decide where to go next…”I know!! Let’s go round again! We’ll do VA, then VB…ummm…then VC, too soon? then V……….ohhhh….ok, let’s just go straight to VE”.)

So join us again! Share every lemon chicken, honey chicken, sweet and sour chicken, satay chicken, Mongolian chicken, Singapore noodle (with chicken), chicken spring roll and various other national dishes as we explore Vietnam from Charlie 2 Delta!!
